Guyleen has been a fierce advocate for health and safety and our underserved communities. By staying true to her beliefs and her constituents, she’s built an impressive track record of progressive advocacy, successful initiatives, and responsible governance. A trailblazer in many ways, Guyleen was the first openly lesbian candidate elected to the Broomfield City Council and was unanimously appointed to Mayor Pro Tem in 2019. Her public service record is a strong testament to dedicated, thoughtful, and persistent organizing on critical issues.
