Broomfield’s neighborhoods have changed over the years. Our residents deserve to have a voice in the changes around them. No one from outside the community should be able to force growth in areas without transit or infrastructure and disrupt the fabric of our community. We need to continue to protect our home rule authority and make sure land use decisions remain local. We need smart, well planned development with local stakeholder input. 

I want everyone to enjoy where they live, to feel like it is an equitable place, and where they can stay as long as they choose. I’m for development that our community wants and will embrace. As Broomfield has grown, much of it has been thoughtful, making life and work better for our citizens. I want to make sure we continue to be thoughtful and empathic to all residents.
